I thought so too, then I was told that it is because as soon as players remove their helmets, refs have to intervene. Changed with all of the concussions/injuries from fighting without helmets.

Zetterberg get the call from VanMassenhoeven with a ridiculous launching dive...not only did he get the call...the whistle stopped a Toews drive, all alone down the slot. There should be a mechanism for the league to review and fine divers...this one wasn't even close to being an interference on Keith.

Fleury sure upstaged Carey Price in the Penguins 5-1 win over the Habs. Price couldn't last 2 periods. Crosby with 1 point. Team Canada is in trouble with the lame goalies they picked. The Bhawks-Red Wings game was a classic, 5-4 SO win for Detroit. It sucks that they can only play each other twice a season now since Detroit's in the east. Something's wrong here with Chicago being the only O6 team in the west. Gustavsson gets the win and Crawford didn't look too sharp. Nice road win by the Hurricanes, 3-2 in reg time over the Flyers.
