It's hard to finish bottom 5. You really have to suck. We were bottom 3 near the trade deadline last year and finished 6th last. Unless this recent hot streak was a complete flash in pan they will pass somebody and move out of the bottom 5. They do have one of the best forwards in the league and one of the best goalscorers.

You have to be going 3-7 consistently to finish bottom 5. 9-3 is too good.

Surprise of the OOT so far has the Panthers up 2-0 on the Penguins in Pittsburgh after two periods. Drew Shore has both goals, in the first period he scored a shorthanded goal followed by an even strength goal in the middle period.

The Blues are up 3-1 on the Red Wings in the second period.

At the first intermission, the stinkin' Leafs lead 2-0 over the Coyotes and the Predators are ahead 2-1 over the Stars.

The Kings came back to tie the Bruins 2-2 in the third period but 18 seconds later Marchand scored his second goal
and that goal was the winner, 3-2 Bruins.

I'm sure Florida will find a way to lose in regulation.

Crosby and co sure didn't have it against the Panthers, cats win 5-1 and Clemmensen was a big part of it as he stopped 35 shots. The road win was the first home loss for the Pens in over 2 months. The Panthers have joined the log jam party for the last playoff spot in the east. The Blues beat the Red Wings 4-1 at the Joe. Howard was injured so Marzek took over halfway through the game. The Predators win 4-1 over the Stars who continue to slump big time, 1-8-1 in the past 10 games. The Leafs win their 5th straight, 4-2 over the Coyotes.

Is it just me or has every other team started to play better except the flames. I think they have a legit shot at 30th. Let's just hope scrivens helps the oil go on a few game winning streak
