Bob McKenzie ‏@TSNBobMcKenzie 2m Worth noting, NHL Hockey Ops asked GMs to expand review criteria to incl this stuff. GMs voted substantially AGAINST expanded video review.

How is that not reviewable either? Someone could throw a puck in from the stands and by that logic it could count.

Puck out of play is not a reviewable play. Never has been.

if hoodies can get thrown on the ice without a call, so can pucks. of course, that should be an instant whistle as a foreign object entering the ice, but if you miss a hoodie you can miss a puck.

Anything involving a potential goal / no goal call should be reviewable. This is garbage.

Brutal. I was expecting the puck to have hit the netting maybe a foot or so above the glass so it was hard to tell. But it would have been somewhere up in the second deck if not for the netting.

Not even within sight of the worst call.

Obviously nobody saw where the puck came down from, not most of the players and none of the refs. Happens, especially if it goes that high. For all they knew, could have taken a crazy bounce off the glass. Since there's no video review and they didn't see where the puck came from, it's a goal.

There's a worse call every week IMO.

Any scoring play should be reviewable. No brainer actually...
