Cool, I certainly under appreciated street earlier in the season but I'm glad to have another look. Will be interesting to see who sits.

Maybe Stajan getting traded, that'd be a double whammy of awesome.

Maybe him and Stempniak got traded to Pittsburgh. Actually I agree with one poster regarding dressing McGrattan and Westgarth at the same time. Especially for a team who's struggling to score goals. I thought they rotate in the lineup...McGrattan against teams with tough guy or play Westgarth against teams with more finesse players.
Street actually played a lot better in his last stint with the Flames. So I am okay with it.

Probably just takes D. Jones place on the roster. Street gives Hartley someone he can play ore than Westgarth and Mcgratton so only one dresses and don't need to double shift 2 forwards to make up the ice time in the third period.

Street (and Byron, and Blair Jones) requires waivers to go back to the AHL.

Good. The guys we have are not getting the job done and are taking their opportunity to play in Calgary for granted.

I read they called him up for the road trip cause they have no spare forwards right now.

That is extremely interesting. Seems that Bryon is safe to stick with the team given his surprising play as of late. But Blair Jones apparently took a skate the other day and may not be as indefinitely out as were led to believe.

Looks like he's here to stay though, according to capgeek he'd have to pass through waivers to go back down to Abby

He may be here to stay but if not he should pass through waivers fairly easily.

Don't want to risk losing him. The sting from Breen is too fresh in my memory.

I think Street would have a harder time clearing, over PPG in the A. Not saying he's here for good or until he gets traded but he'll probably finish the season in Calgary

I am pretty sure something is in the works right now in regards to trades. I can see Brian Burke pulling a trigger soon and trading some of the UFA next season to give Street and maybe Reinhart a spot on the team.

Sorry, I don't understand the hate for Stajan or Butler on this site. Stajan especially is one of the hardest workers on this team. For the price and his continued improvement Butler has played well. There are several others who should go before either of these players.

Stajan played over his head for about a month this season but has regressed to the level of play we've come to expect from him. Frankly he's been mediocre at best during his tenure with the Flames and I along with a pretty good number of fans would like to see him moved, especially if it gives a guy like Knight or Reinhart a chance to play. I don't think Stajan has shown the compete level that is expected of him. He's not alone in that regard obviously, as most of the vets on this team have mailed it in.
Butler, well he is just plain terrible. I'm curious as to what his continued improvement is. Blocked shots? Because that's about the only thing I can think of where he has improved his game.
