Panthers get at least 1 point as they're headed to OT with the Devils

Handzus and Bickell get a brief shift with Smith...Q is rolling the other 3 lines...

Q called out Bickell last week, and he is clearly unhappy with his play...Handzus' lack of speed has also been a negative factor in finding chemistry with better skating linemates.

I think it was Bickell off the post late in regulation.

The Blackhawks-Habs, Senators-Predators, and Panthers-Devils all in overtime tied 1-1.

Sloppy possession in the D-zone...too many giveaways...Markov with the GWG...

HWY...yes, it was Bickell with the iron late in regulation

What was Kane thinking keeping the puck in the defensive? I know he was looking for the line change but wow.

Kane seemed to fight the puck all night...he had to backcheck at least 3 other times to cover for his own bad turnovers...

The Devils scored with three seconds left in overtime in Zidlickian fashion, 2-1 for the Devils.

Spezza wins it in the shootout, 2-1 Senators.
Markov wins it in overtime, 2-1 Canadiens.
The BJs 6-3 over the Jets who are not getting off the runway.

After two periods, the Ducks lead 4-1 over the Coyotes and the Avalanche and Wild are tied 2-2.

Potential Olympic injuries:

“@AnaheimDucks: Ryan Getzalf (lower body) will be held out for the remainder of tonight's game for precautionary reasons. #ANAvsPHX”

“@Avalanche: From the locker room: Paul Stastny (leg) doubtful for return. #AvsVsWild”

Just watched the Blackhawks OT. Tough to imagine a worse shift than Seabrook's.

Can the Jets fire Noel already so I don't have to listen to his lame post game interviews? I don't recall an organization that was ever so attached to such a poor head coach. Jets have played river hockey since coming back to Winnipeg and quite frankly it was clear last year that this guy just doesn't have an answer.

Chevy has been brutal as a GM. He has yet to make a move to help his team and coach out. Bringing in Frolik and Setoguchi have done nothing to change the fortunes of his team. Yeah, Noel may not be the best coach but his GM has done nothing to help. After all the excitement over the return of the Jets it will be interesting to see how many renewals there will be after the 3 year commitment is up. No one to blame but Chevy and by extension ownership over their support for him.

The Bruins stop their losing streak by winning 1-0 in reg time over the Sharks. Soderberg gets the lone goal midway through the 3rd period. Rask gets the SHUTOUT with 26 saves. The Red Wings win 3-1 over the Kings. Detroit scored 2 goals in the 3rd to take the 2 points. Howard played really well in net for the Red Wings, he faced 45 shots. Quick wasn't fast as he takes the loss. The Ducks win their 6th straight as they did Coyote road kill as they won 5-3. Greiss was pulled after 4 goals. The Avs win 4-2 on the road in Minnesota. The BJs win their 3rd in a row, 6-3 over the Jets and are now 7-3-0 in the last 10 games. Man the Jets suck right now. The Senators win 2-1 in the SO over the Predators. Ottawa and Columbus have been steadily climbing up the eastern standings. The Lightning struck down the Flyers home unbeaten streak with a 6-3 victory. Steve Mason was pulled after 2 periods. Anders Lindback played well for the Bolts as he faced 38 shots. Crazy 2nd period where both teams scored 7 goals. The Devils squeak a 2-1 OT win with Schneider in net. Jagr gets an assist on the GWG and that puts him in 7th place on the all time scoring list. The Habs do the same in OT over the Bhawks.

If the Flames need a goalie, I would gladly deal Pavelec for a draft pick....
