The radio said this is Selanne's 6th Olympics. That's crazy!

Still laugh when I think of the commercial this past summer where he throws his golf clubs in the water hazard.

I don't really understand why Bergenheim didn't make it and guys like Aaltonen and Pihlstrom did. Bergenheim is the second best goal scorer looking at goal/game after Filppula and can play basically in any role. Weird stuff

Good thing Jankowski is going to be the best player from the 2012 draft in ten years otherwise I'd be pissed that we didn't take Maata.

That goaltending...

What do they feed the goalies in that country? That alone gives them a chance to win every game.

Not in the Men's level yet, let alone Olympic level.

I hear they would've taken Jankowski if he was available to them...

Edit: this is why I can't quote a reply on the first page of a two page thread. Beaten to the punch. My apologies to DiracSpike

Oli has an Olympic Bronze and Silver.

Can they steal a Gold this tourney? They are my #2 team (behind Team Canada).

Goalies are known to steal Olympics. Finland has the best goalies in the game today.

The defense is pretty atrocious though, couple old vets from the FEL playing probably in top 4 role...

Okey. No Mikko Koivu or Filppula for Finland either, 2 best players out of the team, I'm shattered!

I'm guessing Bergenheim will replace Koivu?

Yeah, Bergenheim is 1 for sure, dunno yet who the other one is.

No speculation either yet anywhere but my wild guess is: Bergenheim and Jarkko Immonen (KHL).
