Maybe people aren't following the Canes this year, but Eric Staal is not playing well at all.
My picks: Bergeron, Crosby, Duchene, Getzlaf, Giroux, Kunitz, Neal, Perry, Sharp, Stamkos, Tavares, Toews, Benn, Seguin

I don't remember arguing for him to be on the team.
From my list I would have Benn, who I left off, ahead of him plus Duchene, Kunitz, Sharp and E. Staal as my LW's.
Don't think it is crazy to have him on team but he didn't make my list and has been on the bubble since the camp roster was released this summer.
Eberle should be nowhere close to this team though.

Over 50% of voters want Thornton...
This guy has played in the last 2 Olympics and has been brutal in both of them. And he was better in 2006 and 2010 than he is now.

Without Stamkos
Perry - Getzlaf - Benn
Duchene - Crosby - Tavares
Sharp - Toews - Nash
Ladd - Bergeron - St. Louis/Couture
with Stamkos
Stamkos - Crosby - St. Louis
Perry - Getzlaf - Benn
Sharp - Toews - Duschene
Ladd - Bergeron - Nash
Tavares
It's a really tough lineup to peg because it is so dependent on injuries.

AltaGuy has a magnetic personality and exudes positive energy, which is infectious to those around him. He has an unparalleled ability to communicate with people, whether he is speaking to a room of three or an arena of 30,000.

If stamkos can't go, I think benn does. I also think Canada will try hard to get that 4th line together as our shutdown line.

I structured the team to play with 6 players at all times! Oilers still couldn't score

I really want to see Duchene on this team, especially on the left side of Getzlaf and Perry. He's got some major wheels and would really open up the ice for those two to work their magic.

Sure would suck having the best player in the world and Captain of a Stanley Cup winning team as Captain of Canada. Hard to see them winning with him as Captain or a guy like Toews being able to step up and say anything unless wearing the C.

C should go to a veteran or a true captain, IMO.

It's either Crosby or Toews.
Both are equally great choices, and near as likely as each other.
