Can you imagine if the Oilers ever did actually make the playoffs...they would get absolutely pounded in a playoff series against a big team like SJ

Can't believe that as short a time ago as last year people had them as a dark horse for the cup lol

Wow...the Oilers are bad at Hockey. 5 on 5 they have no concept of team play....they all play as individuals. Hockey IQ is just... non existent. Poor Dalas Eakins...he looks like he wants to be anywhere else, but behind the Oilers bench

Lol wow Ference and Hopkins caused that goal. Superstars standing around while the men play.

That was honestly the worst shift I have seen from an NHL line in quite some time.

Hopkins is horrible. 3-0 Sharks.

What a thrilling third period in the Habs-Stars game. Five goals were scored in that frame. Subban and Pacioretty each had four points. The Stars were down 4-2 and came back to tie the game. Eller with a great shot scores the winning goal, 6-4 Habs.

And now RNH drops a turd and cant find the puck in his feet, 5' inside his line...bingo bango...4-0 Sharks now after Couture scores.

This kind of defense is just mind boggling in its "awfulness" (it's a word, I checked).

Good use of a time out as well. As Eakins didn't look like he said a word. It's 4-0...how about..."DONT TURN OVER THE MOFO PUCK 3' INSIDE OUR BLUELINE!!"

Don't worry they'll score a couple goals now that the game is out of reach in order to keep their stats up, that's honestly all that matters for the Oilers at this point.

Shots 23-8 Sharks. Score 4-0 Sharks.

Oilers are close to contender status. Real close.

There is no life in Dallas Eakin's eyes.

San Jose took his soul.

It is almost unheard of for someone to make the NHL out of the CIS these days. Cool story to see what Bracken Kearns is doing after persevering though after eight years in the minors.

Almost 5-0. Oilers being outclassed in every facet of the game.

Man it's been quiet around here during Oiler games. No more Oiler fans left on CP . Endangered fans on CP.

I know it's been hidden by Yak's horrendous season, but don't overlook how bad Gagner has been. 13 points in 30 games, and is now a -18; maybe Moon was right that he is one of the worst top six forwards in the league.

At least he scored 8 points that one night, forced the Oilers to overpay to keep him.

Oh and don't use the injury as an excuse, 2 points in his last 11 and a nice -11; putrid stats.

Oilers playing at their hardest couldn't hold a candle up to the Sharks. This is the Oilers 'going through the motions' against the Sharks.

Gets ugly.
