Hopefully Canada can put in about 10 goals in the first period and get Gillies out of there fast.

Gets us a good lead and gets rid of the awful Canadian fans cheering for the Americans.

Moon thinks we're awful! Law of double Negatives means we're great!

That play shows the issue with Canada right now.

3 on 2 and instead of driving the next hard they all glide into the offensive zone, try to make the fancy play instead of the simple hard play, and the scoring chance is gone.

The team just needs to simplify their game.

Canada is losing a lot of puck battles.
USA finishing every check, Canada not so much.

Canada is going to need some serious goaltending today.

it's so painfully obvious that Canada just has to simplify things and play the game honestly. Chip the puck off the glass and out. Shoot when you get the chance. Grind it out, tie guys up, don't make 4 passes in an attempt to make the most beautiful passing play ever.

You won't beat the US by playing globetrotters hockey.

Still without a shot on goal?

Drouin clearly had a shot 30 seconds ago.

A couple of very juicy rebounds from Gillies early on.

Yeah he looks a little nervous.

That last one was a big pad save on a deflection though.

I get that you are patriotic. I do. But wouldn't you rather see Gillies play lights out and lose a very close game? Seems like you are just trying get on people's nerves here.
