The Swedes dominated. Not sure there's a bias there

The dominated possession but didn't have a lot of high quality chances and that doesn't mean that Ferraro should be praising routine plays that develop into nothing.

I hope the Canadians lack of skilled players doesn't lead to more of this type of game throughout the tournament. There gritty type players just can't keep up to the puck movement of the swedes.

And it begins.

5 mins and talk about a possible suspension.

Eurotrash reffing/punishments are a joke.

Lack of skill players?

They are likely no players for any country with more skill than Drouin and McDavid. Probably very few with the skill of Petan or Reinhart either.

Swedes are using the wide rink to enter the zone easily

You're joking right? That was a dirty knee. Always the same in these pre-tournament games. I'm glad neither Forsberg nor Lindholm is playing this game so they can't be targeted.

Haven't even seen a glimpse of it yet

And just think the swedes still get to add their top 2 forwards to the mix to start the tourney

Canadian with a bad knee leading to another goal. 2-0
Can't get any Dumba than that.......

Seriously though, Any thoughts to how many games he gets?

Going to be tough starting the tournament with only 5 D.

We saw plenty of skill in the game against Finland.
This is more a testament to Sweden's defensive game in shutting down the Canadians.

Canada always starts slow to these tournaments and as we have seen in the past these pre-tournament games rarely show us anything in terms of what will happen in the tournament.

Last game the top line didn't play. Guys still getting used to the big ice.

It may hurt them but considering the guys they have hard to see a roster that on paper has more skill than Canada.

It was a knee. Nothing major and far from being one of the bad ones we have seen.

It was clearly a penalty but should have been 2 mins that's it.

Not close to a suspension in anything other than the garbage IIHF tournaments.

Can't imagine how much better Sweden will be with Forsberg and Lindolm in the lineup.

How many games was it Edler got for his knee in the WHC? Dumba should probably get the same.

I agree on paper the Canadians have the "all around" better players but on the big ice I feel the high end raw skill plays a large factor and that is contributing to the way this game is being played. NA ice and Canadians dominate this.
