What? Fighting in a hockey game and all out street fight are nothing a like. No one is going to be holding on to your collar trading blows in a regular fight.

Yeah... I wouldn't pick a fight with someone whose job is 100% based around being in great physical shape.

Seemed like the guy didn't even know he was Lucic, which means he saw a big guy and thought his toughness was threatened. Fact he was talking and not layed out bleeding indicates Lucic wisely did nothing, could you imagine him raging on a random person... he could put someone in a coma with a few punches.

I'm pretty sure Buzzard was basically saying that a guy who can balance on skates and still throw down with some of the best would be no easy task in a regular fight. Sure the fight would be totally different but the fact Lucic is already a monster on skates, would make him that much more intimidating in shoes with easier mobility.

Lucic is huge in the first place and it looked like he at least had a good few inches on that guy plus about 20-30% less body fat, so if I were to pick a winner of a fight between those two, I'd pick Lucic 11/10 times.

It should not be illegal to punch a Canuck fan in the face.

most guys in the NHL that fight regularly train with pro boxing/mma coaches. Lucic would demolish almost anyone not trained at a pro level, probably could fight 3 or 4 people at once just fine as he trains to take a punch. The ability to not be scared of getting hit and having the muscle memory to know how to react in a fight makes it damn near impossible to stop someone that's trained properly.

I actually don't think this video makes Lucic look that bad. Besides being really drunk he doesn't come off too badly

The problem is...these days, especially in bigger cities...there is always the chance the guy is packing something. A knife or worse. Most clubs are so slack on their security and Vancouver is no exception. Better to avoid places like that if you are a target, even if you know you could tapdance the guy.

Just shows why a lot of celebrities who are big and tough (pro fighters, NFL players) have bodyguards. They get a lot more hassle and grief from random tough guys.

I don't think it's an American/Canadian thing so much as it's a difference of who the target of the video is. Most cops are cool and collected in both countries, but the cops you see in YouTube videos are usually ###holes because there's no reason to record and upload a video of a cop doing his job properly. In this case, the target of the video is Lucic, so you get to see a more representative example of how cops usually of their jobs.

Why hasn't this juice monkey Vancouver slime scum bag been charged yet? Uttering death threats is on tape.

Does Vancouver not charge people for crimes caught on tape?

Well of course they do, look at the dozens and dozens of convictions from the Stanley Cup riot.

Wow, Lucic is obviously wasted, but still manages to keep a somewhat cool head. Good work there. Sort of impressive.

Not realy, In my day I think I was somewhere around 13 for 15 on skates and only about 60% in street fights.

Scraping in a bar or whatever is a different game then standing up going toe to toe. you can't "kick" the $$%# out of someone on the ice.

And it only took 2 years for them to start laying charges! Ah the efficiency of the VPD and the justice system
