That was a fun one.

I think these would be a lot more fun if they adopted the traditional 5 shooters system.

Kreider is an exciting player - had a great 3rd period.
Love Colborne in the shoot out. Weird that he can't translate those slick moves to goals in regulation.

Backlund is just not clutch...
Even Byron was able to extend it!
Monahan tried something new when he shouldn't have. Should've just kept to his "money" move and he could've ended it.
My beef in this game is with Hartley though. What was with that powerplay line in OT out there for 3/4 of the PP? Hudler and Monahan should be out there not Blair Jones, what the hell? You could tell that line had no finishing ability from the get go, yet Hartley drains away our chance to put it away before the shootout with stupid lines.
Classic Hartley.

Fun game. But Karri really needs some work in the shootout.

Entertaining game!
The puck flying back and forth through the crease on the late NY pp was a heartstopper. Fortunately Butler sacrificed his face
Odd lineup choices for the pp in OT

It was a good game to watch. I thought we did well in the shootout also, Rangers just did better. Now to lighten the spirits, a joke.
What do you call a New York Mexican?

Pretty entertaining game, exciting shoot out. Nothing I'd really complain about given the back-to-back and playing on the road.

Rebuild or not, the Flames PP cost them the game. The 4 on 3 for 1:18 in the second was a failure, but the 4 on 3 for 2:04 in OT was embarassing. And what the hell is Hartley doing putting Jones on the PP over Hudler.

Cammalleri was downright awful in this game but kept getting thrown out there while Monahan sat on the bench.
edit: Cammalleri a -3 and Monahan a +2.

Only on break aways. To score that is . other than that he does use his reach to setup .

Hudler had just ended the 3rd period.
I didnt mind the 3 forwards on the PP. The PP hadnt worked all so he was trying something different.

I don't really mind the B. Jones experiment on the powerplay. Obviously the PP has been pretty bad as of late so perhaps it was something they've been practicing and having success with in practice. Maybe if Hudler was out there instead, people would complain about the fact that Hartley doesn't change it up

Yeah I'm a big fan of Jones but that's puzzling.
