There is something in here I don't quite understand looking at these values: why is it only in front of Berra that this appears to happen? One other user mentioned the point that the team collapses well for Ramo while in front of Berra, there are scrambles. Is it lack of confidence in Ramo or is there some sort of coaching/team style/effort/mentality thing going on?

I went to the Coyotes/Flames game (Flames won 4-1 with Ramo in net). Ramo looked really composed and the team supported him if he kicked out a rebound. Yet for a lot of the games where the Flames forget about the 3rd period, Berra is in net. The why of that is very confusing. And it almost has the feel of "the Flames are complacent if their goalie is doing too well". But that, again, doesn't explain why games like the Coyotes game listed above don't have the same result...Ramo looked excellent and the Flames continued to protect him.

Ramo I think is more steady but he tends to give out big rebounds. The last three games he played, he kind of eliminate those rebounds.
Both goalies are still learning the NHL system and I think so far they are doing well. Berra is more like a bad luck that he can't win on a regulation time...giving up untimely bad goal..his fault or not. But he usually plays well on OT or shootout. Weird, huh?
I have a bit of the same feeling. Berra is a goalie who has an aggressive style and has high willingness to drop the typical tendencies of a goalie. His size almost gives me the image of Karlsson if he learned to play by watching Thomas. Berra has good reaction, great size, and great movement. The problem is he never seems settled in net. I jokingly mentioned once the Flames should tie him to the net via a 5 foot leash. That tendency to wander bites him quite a bit.

Ramo is much more a traditional goaltender. He's fairly short, but plays with a very level head and gets into his shot blocking position quickly. He still struggles with his lateral movement (which is why you see him on his side so often) and rebound control. As you mentioned, the latter has seemingly gotten better as he's adapted to the NHL speed shots again.
