It's like Oilfan81 in a football thread.

When your imaginary friend absolutely hates you, you have a real personality problem.

Well I guess in a way I still stand behind my earlier comments, he's still raised his online profile on twitter to now over 175,000 people.
Mission accomplished for him I suppose.

I don't understand how you can jump to that conclusion.
Clearly a lot of people either liked/hated what he was doing and decided to give him a follow.
I thought the whole thing was quite funny (I have that juvenile sense of humour sometimes), so perhaps I would follow him should he continue to come up with equally amusing stories in the future. And if his timeline doesn't appeal, I unfollow.
Really nothing sheep like about it.

You're right, missing a comma (and it makes a difference in the meaning, thank you)

Actually, you're probably backing up my original statement with the bolded quote and people's mentality is likely "Hey, this is popular right now, maybe I should be following him!"
Now, I found the whole thing to be amusing, though a bit over the top towards the end (especially the eat a dick part), but it does lose some of its luster after finding out that it's a hoax. I suppose it stems from the part where people wish they could give rude people what they deserve, especially in the context of air travel where there always seems to be that one jerk that people wish would just be put in his or her place.
