I don't think Galiardi brings much that can't be replaced by Max.

I was just going to say the same thing... I actually prefer Max over Galiardi. Galiardi just skates around a lot but really doesn't do much, he's honestly been very blah so far in.

Ferland is likely below Reinhart on the depth chart I'd guess

Except, from all accounts, Ferland has been playing better for the last month or so. But I guess I don't have an issue with him getting into a groove offensively down there first.

I would rather see Ferland spend the whole year in the A with no disruptions. He was rushed last year and he suffered.
Knight is a long term call up. Power will have to fight and scratch to stay up.

Disagree, I don't think he was rushed by the Flames.
He was coming off a 47 goal, 96 point season in the WHL.

He was rushed in the sense that they didn't have any room for him on the Heat roster last year. So he got limited ice time and went cold.
He'd be rushed this year for the same reason. There is no ice time available for someone who needs ice time to show off their skill set. No point putting Ferland's hands down on the fourth line.
Same goes for all the young talent down there. Plenty of ice time to develop down there, not so much up in the NHL unless your name is Monahan.

I also know getting traded and having a lawsuit pending dint help his progression any.
I am glad Ferland was held onto tho...Ward has made incredible strides with all of Abbotsford.

yep. I'd be ecstatic if Ward's the one to succeed Hartley in a year or two.

Agreed. If I'm not mistaken was their not a lot of ppl say Ward would ruin prospects?

Knight comes up for good when Stajan or Backlund is sent packing. I think that happens just before the Olympic break.

Based on the injury/how it happened I do not see Galiardi out for a extended period of time

well it's 5 games minimum if assigned to IR ... so after tonight, 4 games for Max Power to impress. If he gets into the lineup, of course.

Nope, just one or two whiners that repeated it a lot.

IR is seven days (minimum), retroactive to when the player was injured. Galiardi could be back after the weekend.

The call up only matters if Reinhart sees some playing time and given a chance.
