If the Jets had won the Cup in the 1980s, and then won it in 2015, would we say the Jets have one or two Cups? Do people really care about the niceties of franchise continuity?

I would count it as two cups. As long as the team has the same name. I'm not going to say the Canucks have a cup just because the Millionaires won one, but I do say the Senators have won it, because the Senators won it.

This is a trick question! I can tell because the Jets will never win the Cup.

The most awkward thing this past weekend in downtown Vancouver, Yaletown - I was at the Cactus Club with some friends having drinks and they had the Canuck game on with volume from the start. The Hawks as we know, came back to score two goals in the third less than a minute apart to win.

After the second Chicago goal, they actually turned the volume off.

I think that was more the result of taking LSD, listening to Iron Butterfly and eating a box of Crayolas.

One cup because the franchise awards, records, players, history, etc. all belong to the Phoenix Coyotes.
