The only way the Flames shouldn't get Klesla is if the oilers or panthers do.

Not really sure how that whole process works, but the quality of a guy like Klesla is the best you're going to see on waivers, so may as well use it.

What happened to D'Agostini this was a guy that had a 46 point 20 goal plus year and was heavily hyped.

Yeah, I don't know much about him but wasn't he one of the guys everyone wanted in the Iggy trade?

i'm not 100% sure but i believe it goes by standings period. Flames could pick up both of them and it won't effect future waiver positions.

So he's pretty much a lock to go to Edmonton then. Dammit. And I just got over the Horak thing too.

What the hell? I know I havent been following Phoenix that closely lately but I thought Klesla was playing in their Top 4 and playing really well.
Hes a big, steady stay-at-home Dman. Hells yes.

Does Edmonton have cap room though? Klesla is making almost $3M this year.

Edmonton is at 49 contracts and plenty of cap room.
They could pick him up without much issue.

They've got ballpark $7 and Rusty is $3M. It's not too bad.
