It was a nice change of pace. Instead of losing in the first 40 minutes and playing the last 20 they played the first 40 minutes and lost in the last 20.

Goaltending was average, Oilers got a better performance in the net.
Has Jones been effective ini more than 1-2 games this season? For a guy who was the bigger piece coming back in the Tanguay trade, he's been absolutely invisible. Really would like to see almost anybody else take his ice time.

I honestly think he was just asleep after having to deal with next to nothing the first 2 periods. This game was completely B. S. though, I'll tell you that much.

I can't stand it when people mention closer to 30th or here comes Eckblad or Reinhart.
You do know there is worse teams then us right? Oilers for one, look at the east we'd be like 5 points out of the playoffs, go and cry to yourself, these types of fans get me going.

Stopped skating in the 3rd thinking it was all wrapped up. Questionable goaltending on goals 1 and 3. Flustered Flames had no answer. Embarrassing losing that way at home to the worst team. Ugh.

Getting the kids up and playing should be a priority. There's some sense that there is something to build on but its going to be a looooong year. Need to move two or three vets. Take the losses, the big pick and get these kids ready for next season. Not writting this year off at all. But Guys like Ortio, Ramage, Granlund, Jooris, Hanowski and others need to be up.
