So many great storylines if the Oilers lose tonight. Hopefully the Flames show up in the first half of the game and put in a solid effort.

I'll say 4-2 Flames.
I agree,
Ground zero could easily be reached with a one sided Flames win tonight.

I hope its a track meet. A 2-1 game would suck even more given the talent level on display.

I've just been trashing my girlfriend (oilers fan) way too much this year for me to be able to handle a Flames loss to the Oilers

Expecting a Flames loss tonight....
Not to be a negative Nelly or anything like that but they haven't played well in front of Berra what so ever.

That and the Oilers seem to get up for these battles of AB lately.

Which would be even more fun if the Flames beat them like 6-2. How awesome would that and the aftermath be...

The Oilers had moments of brilliance last night against the sharks. The top line was a handful at times. If they can compete hard like that for more than just a few minutes here and there, then they can be dangerous.

I'm so annoyed - I've come to really enjoy seeing HNIC on the NHL Network (US). You canadians do great hockey broadcasts, but I guess the NHL decided that no one down south cares about a BoA and have cut the late game from the schedule - ARGH!

Poor Oilers... they really do have to break up this core and begin a new rebuild. A rerebuild.

Well, the Red Wings are approaching 23 years straight in the playoffs.

My Fiancé surprised me with tix for tonight's game for my birthday.
Driving up from Medicine Hat as we speak.
My BOA record while in attendance is 3-1, hopefully we make it 4-1 tonight.

If we lose we should be ashamed of ourselves.

According to Gilbertson, Smith and Bouma on the ice, means likely SOB and either McGrattan or Jackman sitting.

projected lines:

Galiardi - Backlund - Jones
Cammalleri - Monahan - Hudler
Baertschi - Stajan - Stempniak
Bouma - Colborne - McGrattan

Butler - Brodie
Wideman - Russell
Smid - Smith

Berra

http://flames.nhl.com/club/news.htm?id=691611

no issues with those lines at all. Nice to see Bouma back in the lineup for Jackman. Shuffling the top 9 a little bit makes sense to me, will be interesting to see it on the ice.
