I want the Flames to win mainly to see the reaction from the Oilers and their fans. Worst team in the league that was supposed to challenge for a playoff spot this year, if they lose against their rival who was was supposed to be worse than them where do they go from there? Will Lowe, er, I mean MacTavish finally pull the trigger on a major deal? Will he say he still sees progress? Will Yakupov add to his league-leading worst +/- rating?
So many great storylines if the Oilers lose tonight. Hopefully the Flames show up in the first half of the game and put in a solid effort.
I'll say 4-2 Flames.
I agree,
Ground zero could easily be reached with a one sided Flames win tonight.
this is goign to be a bad hockey game. I don't mean the outcome (I do actually think the oil might win this) but just 2 bad hockey teams playing against eachother. I think they're both Junior B teams....
I hope its a track meet. A 2-1 game would suck even more given the talent level on display.
The Oilers had moments of brilliance last night against the sharks. The top line was a handful at times. If they can compete hard like that for more than just a few minutes here and there, then they can be dangerous.
I'm so annoyed - I've come to really enjoy seeing HNIC on the NHL Network (US). You canadians do great hockey broadcasts, but I guess the NHL decided that no one down south cares about a BoA and have cut the late game from the schedule - ARGH!
Poor Oilers... they really do have to break up this core and begin a new rebuild. A rerebuild.

My Fiancé surprised me with tix for tonight's game for my birthday.
Driving up from Medicine Hat as we speak.
My BOA record while in attendance is 3-1, hopefully we make it 4-1 tonight.

no issues with those lines at all. Nice to see Bouma back in the lineup for Jackman. Shuffling the top 9 a little bit makes sense to me, will be interesting to see it on the ice.
