Every team has tens of thousands of fans, except Phoenix. Who would cheer for that crap.

I shouldn't need to tell you painting all fans with the brush of a single or handful of experiences is kinda lame.

Living in Vegas doesn't really add anything to the discussion. I've met lots of leaf fans in Vegas that we're really nice, and other than not liking Dion, were very positive.

I wasn't talking about hockey teams, I was talking about the hockey market/fans. And how does Toronto know how to rebuild??? Burke made that team what they are and they fired him....

I'd have to say the blind optimism is about the same for oilers fans and leafs fans. Every year is there year! They've won a few games, they're going straight to the top! They have the best roster on paper in the NHL! This 7 year contract is going to look amazing in a few years!

I'm pretty sure both teams will panic and make a dumb trade sooner or later.

And the team is looking very good. Clearly, he didn't deserve to be fired.

And why would the Leafs panic being first in the conference. Why are you making it sound like Toronto and Edmonton are in the same situation?
