What happened in OT in the Vancouver game? I see Backes got a couple 10 minute misconduct penalties after the goal was scored.

I think you misunderstand. Garrett pointed out and wrote about how the refs even it up every game... not that it SHOULD be done that way.

See tonight when Garrison got clipped with a high stick and was bleeding... Canucks got a 4 minute pp...

Blues get 2 ludicrous phantom calls near the end of the 2nd period that lead to both the Blues goals. (Seriously the first one was a light hit by Kassian on MPS on the boards)

Then zero calls through-out the 3rd and late into OT when the Blues got hit with a phantom call with 30 seconds in OT that was near identical to the one on Backes that got the Blues back into the game at all.

No real penalty calls happened after the first period... just a bunch of non-sense calls, same as almost every game.

Kesler scored and Backes went after Daniel Sedin after the whistle

Jackman tried to fight Kesler as he was celebrating

Daniel Sedin hooked Backes away from the puck and instead of going after the puck Backes freaked out. The Canucks scored and Backes continued to freak out.

The Avalanche look like they will win another game as they lead 4-2 with five minutes left in the third period.

Matt Duchene is playing for an olympic spot. That kid has the makings of NHL star material. I want him to be a big part of Hockey Canada.

The Sabres finally win a road game, 3-1 over the Panthers.

The stinkin' Leafs lose 5-2 to the BJs.

The Ducks recover from the loss last night as they defeat the Senators 2-1 in regulation using a rookie goalie, Frederik Andersen.

He's going to be a star, for sure. The one thing I'd really like to see him change is his diving. He's right up there with the worst offenders in the league for cringe worthy dives when he gets touched while skating through the neutral zone.
