Fantastic call-up. He does everything asked of him and is a reliable player. This is exactly the kind of guy you want on the farm. He was never a liability and fit into the lineup easily. Good luck to him with the Heat. I'm sure we'll see him up again sometime this season because injuries are inevitable.

But without the cheapshots and stupid penalties that Nichol would commit.

Yep. Jackman really serves no purpose on this team anymore. Time to hand his spot to a younger player.

Was amongst the fittest Flames this year, similar to Nichol in years past.
Hard working player who certainly earned his place on the team coming out of camp. I hope to see him improve and continue pushing for a spot as a regular.

With Stajan and Cammy back sending Street down seems straight forward unless they waived Jackman or send Colburne down.
Numbers game. When D.Jones comes back one of them will go down next.

Could very well be mistaken but I believe he'd have to pass through waivers if we tried to send him down. The team is probably wary of exposing him so soon after the trade as I'd say someone would pick him up.
Maybe one of our resident CBA experts can clarify though...

Colbourne is not waiver exempt. He will have to pass through waivers to be sent down.

2 way contract means little with regards to waiver status. 2 way refers to how much money they will make if sent to the AHL. Example: Colborne is a 2 way contract. In the AHL, he makes $65,000, in the NHL he makes $875,000. If we send him down, he gets the AHL salary, up in the NHL he gets NHL. If we sent down Stajan (random name don't freak out), he would get his NHL salary of $1.75M regardless.

He far exceeded any and all expectations I had for him - very impressed and surprised by his stint here.
Good on him, and good to know there is another guy in Abby that can be called upon when necessary.

He did well when he was here and Hartley used him a lot. Guy can score in the AHL, it's too bad he can't in the NHL. But, he's still a solid depth guy to have. I am sure he'll be back at some point this season.

He's a decent fill-in player that, at the very least, will always give you a great effort. He's clearly not an NHL regular, but is an excellent 'tweener.

Versatile player that reminded me a lot about the "Rocky Balboa" quote - no matter how hard he got knocked down, he just kept moving forward. He was fine on every line, and was never a liability. Had the occasional games where he was good in the face-off dot as well. Exactly the things you want to see from a depth call-up.
He will be a bit hard-pressed to make any lineup in the NHL, but every NHL team could use a guy like Street to call-up and eat some minutes. Glad the Flames have him.
