Hall is out and with the Oilers already not doing well, this can't help them do anything but finish really low in the standings. They'll get another top 10 draft pick for the 32195th year in a row. At which point do their draft picks start doing the Lindros to them? If I were picked by them (and I didn't already have the Flames fan bias) I'd be seriously worried. Yes they have a lot of young talent, but shouldn't they be getting it together by now? It is long overdue.
How long until Hall, Eberle or RNH demand a trade? I wouldn't be surprised if Yakopov hasn't already expressed displeasure to management.

Hall is a bandaid. A lot of bad luck and I kind of feel for the guy, however he is still injury prone.
Edmonton needs a goalie. With or without Hall they are going to suck until they get a goalie.
