Yes. Because GM/Chev divide their count.

Any reason why Sierra/Silverado isn't being considered? Yes, I love my Sierra, and I loved my Silverado before it. But for the record, I think the F150 is a great truck, too. I'd totally drive one, but I just like the GMs a tiny bit more.

I have a Silverado and it has been a really good truck. lots of power, decent mileage, comfortable and zero problems.

I looked at the F150 and Ram at the time as well, both are nice trucks.

I'm on my third Ram 1500 pickup.

Two lease completions and I bought the last one.

The ecoboost scares me for some reason. I can't really explain why but a turbo'ed V6 just isn't the same as a good ol V8.

And if you are buying a truck looking for awesome gas mileage...you have other issues...

I would check out the new Sierra or Silverado, the interior looks superb. Also a redesigned F-150 is due out this year. The dodge looks great and I like the way they drive, but I don't trust them to last in the long run. I'll be buying a new Sierra at the end of this production cycle, my 07 Classic has been great, it just looks a bit dated inside at this point.

Like any vehicle they all have issues. If there are things that are common issues I would like to know. Even when I go to Titan forums I can't find proof of common issues like the generalized statement you made earlier.

I had a chev blazer before and they were notorious for oil cooler lines failing. That was a common issue you could see in most forums. Again, I have never seen proof to back up the issues you mention. I have no doubt some Titans have
Had those issues but I am also sure so have every other truck after time

I say it becuase I work @ a Nissan dealership and have first hand knowledge....

I got a 2012 Silverado about a year ago and I've been pretty happy. Runs well so far and it's pretty good on gas for being a big truck to boot. I had it down between a F-150 ecoboost and the 5.3L V8 Sierra/Silverado, but settled on the Silverado because the pricepoint was several thousand less and I liked the drive.

I have a 2010 Dodge Ram and wouldn't trade it for any other truck. The Ford F150 is garbage in comparison in my mind. I test drove both trucks extensively before I purchased and the Ram had way more guts on acceleration than the Ford. I like the look of the Ram better, plus their interior design was way more refined for my tastes. I have convinced 2 other coworkers to buy a Ram and they both love it.

If the Furd has had its cam phasers and spark plugs done recently I would go with it.

Geez, I don't know ruddstud. You have about a dozen people advising you to get an F-150 and nobody advising you to get a Titan. Particularly when you have a $6500 price difference that favours the Ford. Have you even read your own thread?

I don't think the 2007 f150 had the spark plug issue...

Watched a great documentary on ford the other night by accident (pvr was supposed to get american greed). Anyway, my image of ford has done a complete 180 after seeing the changes internally they made. I knew they were doing a better job marketing but to see the open policy within the company to point out their downfalls and address them was very impressive.
They hired a 3rd party to test all their models and the guy tore into ford for all sorts of reasons. Went as far as saying he would never have bought a Ford of pre 2006 but is singing a completely different tune of them now!

Might have, I know gen 2 of the expeditions had the spark plugs that would break off when trying to take out - I think that's the 04-07 5.4l v8 triton, which was also in the f150.

The earlier version had plugs that would come out (launch) I think.

A friend of mine has one. It has decent power but is also quite thirsty. Overall quality of his truck has not been what you'd expect from a Toyota.

I knew I needed to move out of Calgary the moment the words "Ooo... That's a nice truck." Came out of my mouth.
