I do love the 100m though....it's one of the best parts of the Olympics. Donovan Baileys performance in Atlanta was just as exciting as Johnson in Seoul.

I always liked Donovan.

I will say that of the two, Johnson's is burned into my brain more.

I always felt Bailey's win in Atlanta served as redemption for Canadians for the events in Seoul. I remember the stupid questions Bailey had to answer after the win about being a Jamaican born Canadian sprinter, obviously alluding to Ben Johnson.

Does anyone anywhere, even Americans, think that Johnson was actually inured running that 150m run?

The thing that got to me was that after the Olympics, Michael Johnson was going on talk shows and being introduced as the fastest man in the world. There are no bounds to the American hype machine.

It's named Ben?

So Michael Jackson's song wasn't about a mouse after all? It's all starting to make sense now.

Every 100m champ between Bailey and Bolt has been busted for doping.

Being only 5 at the time, I do remember the controversy of Johnson losing the gold medal. But I didn't realize the extent of the rivalry with Lewis. The 30 for 30 is a good watch for anyone interested.
