It's $18,000 for 15 weeks, so it's $1,200 per week. Let's say you do it all 52 weeks in a year; that's $62,400 for the year.
To be in the top 1% (or more correctly, the 99th percentile), you'd have to earn $191,100 annually in Canada. To be in America's 99th percentile, where NASA is based, you'd have to earn over $394,000 annually. The above figures are nowhere near that.
