I really wouldn't mind if there still air the Toronto HC. live a 10:00. It was nice to hear commentary from an outside market at times. Even if it was Leafs Heavy.

Well, although I agree that the Flames would seem to be well covered in the other 4 hours every afternoon, anything is an improvement over Baseball Central, which is airing daily now.

Oooh, let's talk about the Blue Jays and their epic quest to pull within 15 games of .500.

EDIT: Upon reflection, I'd actually rather the Fan picked up some sort of NFL talk in that 12-1 hour, or subbed out an hour in the afternoon for it.

I love how people seem to think everyone in Calgary listens to the Fan for 5 hours straight in the afternoons.

Some of us work and can't be near a radio for the majority of our days and any chance to get more Flames talk is a good thing in my books.

Nothing worse than getting a few minutes to listen to the radio only to find out Jim f'ing Rome is on or the blowhards in Toronto are talking Blue Jays or Maple Leafs.

Not like another hour of Rome punching repeat on his little audio clips to fill the the frequent dead air time is making us any smarter.

At least it was different then the other stuff on the Fan, and myself and several others enjoyed listening to it.

I get we're in a hockey central market, but it allowed me to keep up with some other items other then the Flames with a host who has a different style.

To be clear, I'm not crying about it. I can stream a different radio station and get the Rome show. I'd just rather the Fan carry all of it or none of it.

Some different personalities was nice to listen to and they did seem to try to cover a wide spectrum of topics even if Kypreos is a blowhard.

Personally I wish they just kept it that way. This seems like more duplication of existing content.

Agreed, I prefer some different voices and the more global NHL perspective the Toronto crew brings. We hear enough from the Calgary crew in the afternoon. Leave it alone.
