No. The artist who originally drew Superman was born in Toronto but he moved to Ohio when he was 8 years old. The writer of Superman was always American.

Some of these coins are really tacky because of the modern comic book art on them. There is no timeless quality to them. The art is so bad.

sorry, 1/2 of the creators of Superman was Canadian. Either way I think it's a neat fact.

I agree the art is pretty tacky though. I think going with more classic Superman art would have looked way better.
