I get what you're saying, but I still see it as more of a distraction, not less. A vast majority of drivers out there can't hit the steering wheel controls without looking at them. For the non-technologically impaired, maybe. But I would assume they already have a hands free option. And you're going to get that idiot that wants to skype with the watch instead of just talking.
Considering the amount of people I see using 'speaker phone' in the car while still holding it near their face, I have my doubts most people will actually leave their hands at 10-2 while talking.
