Nemisz may turn it around but I see it elsewhere as he has other youth to jump over.(hope I'm wrong)

Went on a hunch, Jooris, RW with some size and smarts.

People picking Nemisz over guys like Ortio is a sign this poll has reached its conclusion.

I'm on my phone and it won't let me see the poll option, but I think out of who is left, Ortio is the guy.

It isn't uncommon for a small player to make it through the draft but get picked up after doing well in the juniors and entry pro levels.

I don't know much about him as a player so I am not an advocate or a detractor. I know he is really small for a d-man (bad), but I also know he made the AHL all stars in his first season(good).

I haven't voted for him. But I am interested to see what he does this season.
Free agent signings, even small defenders have started to make an impact. Look at Torey Krug for the Bruins. Another unsigned free agent short stature defender who has a shot at making the top four.

It is almost like a position that has not been fully scouted or drafted from. I am glad the Flames appear to be willing to consider all sizes of prospects.
