Every player has potential. Tanev would have to actually attempt shooting the puck to come close to realizing it.

Decent player and should improve. Needs to bulk up and not hold the puck so long in his own zone but I won't be surprised if he is talk about about as being in the Canucks top 3/4 defencemen this year.
