Leslie said they would be breaking the news first and then Feaster would be following up on it. He's on at 4:45 and they said they would have "nice Flames news" first.

Sounds like it could possibly be flood relief donations on behalf of the Flames? That sounds more like a Ken King thing than Feaster though.
Edit- Pinder just said there is other news coming. Gotta be Bancks

The "C" in his last name annoys the hell out of me. Don't really know why. It just does.

Free Telus TV for the entire NHL season for all Flames fans for having to endure their godawful commercials 7 times each commercial break.

lol Are you seriously asking me that? Of course! Haven't played contact hockey in years, so safety isn't really my biggest concern, so I will not wear any other helmet.
Anyways, back to legit speculation...I wonder if it's flood related.

"Good Flames news" if they're holding out like this had better be jerseys, or an official announcement that the Dome will be good to go. Affiliations and an RFA signing aren't really worth the wait. Guess we'll see!

It's going to be the Alaska Aces as new ECHL affiliate.

That is neither exciting nor news.

hmm
If it is "big" exciting news, I would go with the arena plan being solidified.
If it is roster news, Bancks
Organization news, ECHL banishment program to the middle of nowhere, Alaska
Fluff news, jerseys
That ECHL news would be pretty scary for anyone on the Heat that is worried about being demoted. Winter in Alaska would be a lot less fun than winter in Utah.

Any news is better than listening to the epic Eric Francis story that's been on the last hour.
Vomit.
