He was a big part of Yale's national champion team.
Granlund's skating weakness puts him behind Agostino for me. I don't have an issue with people picking Horak, pretty much a coin flip between him and Agostino.

Had to pick Agosrino, he has the highest ceiling in my eyes.
Horak is close but close to what? Right now he's a non-physical bottom six forward and his progression seems to have slowed significantly whereas Agostino will be turning pro after this season with an NCAA championship already on his resume

Agostino. Don't know enough about Granlund and I don't consider Horak a prospect

I'm sticking with Granlund. Horak doesn't have the ceiling that I think Granlund does.

Horak won both Round 11 polls, time to move on.

Really liked what I saw at the prospect camp from Agostino. Liked Granlund too but give the edge to Agostino.

I could say the same about Agostino. Not sure if its that he came back in the Iggy trade that are making posters vote for him, or that they have deep knowledge about him?
I knew nothing about him before the trade and from the little i saw in youtube clips he looked pretty "meh". He looked alright in rookie camp but he did have some years on the other guys. Granted i think you guys are all nuts for not wanting Reinhart.

Voted for Granlund for the following reasons:
- IMO highest ceiling offensively based on what I've seen at last 2 World Jrs.
- I no longer consider Horak a prospect (I was using 2010 draft as a cutoff)

Horak. He is an NHLer, has shown that. Maybe only a 3rd or 4th liner, but an NHLer. Why? Enough skill and tons of hockey sense. Agostino by all accounts has good hockey smarts too, but (not having seen him play... like I'm guessing virtually all of you) I highly doubt that he has Horak's skill. Skill bias for Euros. I think he will be a borderline NHLer with a 200 game career tops, up and down from minors in various organizations. I suspect Granlund is the most skilled of the lot, but don't think he has the size or skating to be an NHLer. At the end of the day, I think you go with the proven NHLer. None of these guys will ever be studs.

Really like Horak, and I liked what Agostino showed. Horak will always be a good depth player. Agostino seems to be a really good depth player (his puck pursuit and constant motor will be welcome on the Flames).
With that being said, Granlund has top 6 upside. I think he is in the top 5 most skilled forward prospect. His shooting is NHL caliber. His offensive hockey sense I think is really good - manages to get to the open areas and his release is just so quick.. may I use the word superb?
I was always 'hoping' for Granlund since we drafted him, but had my doubts about the possibility of him making the team one day. I think he will at least get a cup of coffee. I think he has shown a lot of progression. I picked Granlund.

His hot streak to start last year has the kid extremely overrated. He shouldn't even be in this conversation he will top out as an average 3rd liner at best.

I would say that's pretty good for our 11th best prospect!

I agree for the most part. I don't think its his scoring that will land him an NHL job, its his hockey sense.
