Wow, totally missed this thread the first time around. You guys must be so relieved! After a few days I'd be assuming the worst.

I had this one lady tell me one time about her cat that lived to be twenty something. It went missing for a YEAR and then came back.

I still wonder if it was a second, younger cat... haha.

You never know... My cat was a runaway they picked up. Clearly had previous owners as he was neutered/declawed. Sometimes I wonder if they ever think about him/assume he died when he really ended up in a really good home...

Well I wouldn't be 100% if it were in fact a run away rather a dumped animal. Some #######s dropped their animals off in the country because they don't want them anymore.
