I´m betting Bjugstad and Shore are sent to develop one more year in AHL, which is the right move. I think Fleishman plays wing.

Gomez won't turn any NHL team into a winner at this stage in his career, but he could help a team win a few more games.

Just my $0.02...
If you look at the Flames roster they have a spot for a new player in goal, Baertschi will get the LW spot and there is a spot open at centre. So we take Gomez and there goes the centre spot so who is he going to mentor?

Sure Gomez might be a useful player but not for us.

I was watching sportsnet connected and the guy was giving the details of the trade and said "I wish I had Gomezs agent as he continues to get ridiculous contracts" and then he said it was a one year deal for 900k. Did anyone else hear that? It confused me why he would think that was terrible.

Not a bad contract but I dont see why the Panthers really needed a player like Scott Gomez.
