I'm sure Itse or Henry could add more to this, but word is Selanne is coming back because he wants to play in the Olympics, same with Koivu. Source: I was just visiting my friend in Finland who got it from the sports news. Nothing official official, but that's the word on the Finnish streets.

Finland is in trouble if Saku Koivu still makes the team at this point in his career.

It was just extra padding to absorb hits.

I don't see what playing in the NHL has to do with going to the Olympics (RE Selanne). He could be retired as long as he's from Finland he can play for them correct? Many teams are made up of mostly Non-NHL players.
