We'll see how Weiss's Florida points translate into a more advanced system. If I was a Detroit fan, I'd be slightly worried until I saw Weiss on the ice. We saw how the Toronto guys looked under Sutter.

Yzerman knows Filppula, Filppula knows Yzerman, Tampa needs solid players or their young stars won't translate into a successful team. Signing makes sense. Overpaid like everyone, of course.
