I was hoping for 1 year, but I have no complaints about this. It will be great having him out there protecting the young guys.

McGratton is one of the few tough guys in the league that knows his role and plays it effectively. A good player to have in a rebuild.

And a year ago I was one of the very few on CP who understood that Jackman and Sarich needed a heavyweight.

A year later and a 100% 3-4 minutes a game goon is signed and not one word about wasted roster spot.

Definitely earned it.

One of our best players after we acquired him. Tough guy who can actually skate a regular shift and contribute.

I'm not much for goons, but I love this guy.

Seems great in the room, tough as hell and makes everyone else a couple inches taller and a few pounds heavier just with his presence IMO.
