I have this game, played it a few times a day for a few minutes for a while, collected a lot of the whacking day stuff, then let it go for a while. Saw this thread and started up again.
I too have not spent any money on it. I'm level 28 I think, just unlocked Lenny and Carl, heh. But my Springfield is pretty jumbled up and messy, I'm currently buying up land so I can make it more aesthetically pleasing.

I actually have a game on my phone I find considerably more fun. It's called D.O.T., Defender Of Texel. Kinda of an RPG/Fighter collection game. For those who remember the days of 8 and 16 bit gaming you'll probably love it. A lot of little jokes and humour about a land of war with 8 bit sprites. I was going to add another thread for it, but I don't want to bog down the site with a whole bunch of game invite threads. There are sites for that. If anyone here does play DOT or wants to give it a try, my username there is also Daradon and my code is S6fZ (case sensitive)
P.S. Noticed you can only add friends (Tapped Out) when you're on phone data, I couldn't get it to go through my wifi for some reason. I guess it could be a setting I have here, but I really don't think so, everything else seems to work fine.

The Christmas theme is ending pretty soon, but I like how the developer continue to put in new content and levels. One of the better Free to play games out there
