He was with Montreal and McKenzie reported he was a candidate for the Assistang GM position that Weisbrod eventually got.
Looks like he is now head scout for Hockey Canada.

I remember Jankowski being a candidate for the Flames - I was a bit iffy on him until I saw his track record, and I was a bit disappointed that he didn't get chosen (not that I am down on Wesibrod at all). I still hope the Flames find a place for him in their scouting department, but he would probably need to at least be in Todd Button's level, if not at Weisbrod's level.
Definitely an upgrade over Pendergest (sp?) I would think. I wonder where Pendergest ends up going to now.

I like that they named Ryan McGill assistant coach. Good choice. Great junior coach.

Brent has a good track record with juniors, that's for sure. Could choice there I think.
Mark Jankowski should get an invite to the summer camp. Considering that 2 of the top centers this year for Canada may be playing in the NHL, would be smart for Canada to bring in Jankowski at least as a backup and see how things turn out. From what I have been reading, Monahan is likely to be playing in the NHL next season (though not a 'guarantee'). MacKinnon will be playing in the NHL. Leaves Canada with Horvat, Domi, McDavid (I think he will make the team) and who knows whom else. Jankowski will add size and skill (something a guy like Gauthier wouldn't really bring). Hopefully he gets a crack at it at least. I doubt they would want any 17 year old players (as is usually the case).

Jankowski isnt going to be on the team because Sutter is going to be taking a team exclusively of defencemen.
All defencemen, all the time.

Close. Rumour has it that his team will line up with four defencemen and a rover.
After all, somebody has to take the faceoffs.

just look at that roster
if the 2012 team comes close to the accolades that 2005 team did I would be shocked, an all time team

from this years the only guys that would have been in the NHL arguably are Huberdeau, Hamilton and RNH

the 05 team look at the birthdays, all 85 birth years except Sid and Cam Barker
half that team could have been in the NHL
