had a chance there in the 8th. Bases loaded/1 out and Bautista and EE up.

Not sure if it was a viable option, but would Bautista working the count a bit and maybe draw a walk? Seemed like he was trying to tie game all by himself by swinging out of his shoes on the first pitch.

JPA still hasn't learned how to block a ball.

Moore can't hit the strike zone right now. If I was the Jays I wouldn't swing at anything. He's totally out of it.

And Davis strikes out on a pitch out of the zone with the bases loaded. Sheesh.

JPA needs to go away. Costing us runs all over the place and can't hit a damn thing.

Kawasaki, eh? Too bad, fan fave and I like watching him play. Really great job coming in out of nowhere to play some solid ball. Hope Reyes can come in and start this team on another long winning streak.

Shi Davidi ‏@ShiDavidi 23m
Lots of hugs for Kawasaki in clubhouse afterwards. Gibbons called team together to tell them about his demotion. Emotional move for team

Shi Davidi ‏@ShiDavidi 21m
Gibbons on Kawasaki: "He’ll be back, trust me on that one."

Shi Davidi ‏@ShiDavidi 16m
Kawasaki: "This one strange Japanese guy to come here and be accepted the way I have has really been an unbelievable experience."

Shi Davidi ‏@ShiDavidi 10m
Asked for last message to fans, Kawasaki: “I am now hungry." Media laughs, ques translated, he laughs. "My bad. Well, it’s not as if I died"

I was really worried the Rays were going to get Rayed (no hit) today. Luckily we got a hit and it didn't matter! Time to rally for the sweep!

Adam Lind has been a blessing in disguise - really been the Jays' best hitter for the most part of the year.

Lawrie began his rehab stint yesterday and could be back with the Jays in 2 weeks. That would be the first time this season that our 1-9 hitters have been healthy.

EE homerun!
