The smaller logo, moved up high, looks odd.
Basically a recolored Maple Leafs/Coyotes. The comparos to Team Canada, and the Stamps away with the red bib, are also pretty close.
Didn't mind the old ones, unique themselves with the flags and the secondardy logo on the shoulders.

Digging the road uniforms, the home uniforms are just screaming for some contrast. The pants, the helmet, the gloves, something needs not be red in there. Heck maybe even a thick white stripe on the pants would do it, but right now it's just too much red.

Dallas is supposed to be releasing theirs today as well.
Hopefully the Flames have a similar idea for theirs. Removing all the tacky piping on their regular home and aways.

The logo needs to be centered better, it is bugging the #### out of me.
Like the away though, but think they should have kept the shoulder patches.

Good to see the piping gone, but what's up with the inconsistent striping for home/away? They couldn't pick one and be done with it?

The home jersey looks like a complete rip off of the team canada jerseys. Kinda seems odd, but I guess they look nice.

Agree the logo looks odd how high up it is placed. For fans this jersey will wear badly with fat dudes.
The Striping looks unfinished.
Away jersey looks better than the home.

Yup, that is the main problem with those jerseys...logo is not in the right place.

It's not gouging if you don't buy. I've been a Flames fan for 30 years, and it's never even crossed my mind to buy a jersey.
If there are some Hurricanes fans out there who just have to own each version of the jersey, then yeah - a fool and his money are soon parted. And I guess modern pro sports is built on lots and lots of those fools. I'm old enough to remember the days when only children bought team collectibles and regalia. Back when players made $80,000 a year.

Alienating the 'fat dude' market in North Carolina? They're going to have a bad time...

I don't mind them. I didn't like the old striping with the hurricane flag. But I do agree with others...the home is a little too close to Team Canada and the logo should not be so high.
PS. Are the Flames planning to make changes to their jerseys?? I never heard they were.

The thing I hate is that teams that have unique things to their team, they go and change them to something generic.
The Coyotes jerseys were very different and it was cool because it was so unusual.
The Hurricanes with their hurricane warning flag thing on their jerseys.
The Canucks with Black Orange and Yellow - now typical blue
The original Avs jerseys were awesome, now they're bland
The Kings Purple and Gold were ugly as all hell but they were unique. Black and Silver isn't exciting (although it's better than what they had immediately prior)
The Stars with the star pattern on the jersey = awesome. Now it's bland.
The Wild's original green jerseys. Now they're plain.
The Ducks being purple and green. Now black like the Sharks.
The Sharks having awesome teal jerseys. Now black with teal accents.
Even New Jersey being Red and Green was good because it was an homage to the heavy Italian population in NJ.
At least the Oilers actually did something right and returned to their unique style
I like watching hockey and being instantly able to tell exactly who is playing without having to look. With so many teams using the exact same colour/design schemes, it just sucks.

That and get rid of the italicized nascar-esque font. Names and numbers on hockey jerseys look so much better in big, simple, block-like font.

Personally, it bugs me when the home and away jerseys are so different in style. I would prefer if they were the same template for both. I'd prefer all three team colours (four if you count white) be represented on the jerseys themselves rather than just as add-ons as number trim or crest only. The pants could have used the black hem on the original jerseys and will definitely look plain without a team logo on them. This would be a good opportunity to put the storm warning logo to use.

Where's the Country and State flags? And it needs more piping.

These are decent. I'm slightly more concerned about the health of the faceless albinos that were modelling them, however.
