About the same height as Domi but Domi weighs 194. Max looks solid and that was a great hit.

Stolarz is a towering beast, but boy does he ever give up too many rebounds.

Props to Makarov for keeping this game close. Unfortunately, this was likely Saskatoon's only chance at a win as Halifax and Portland will probably eat them alive.

This is junior hockey, no telling who will win.

Enjoy watching Portland, likely will not see them in the memorial cup for another 8 to 10 years

Ferland had two really nice passes on his assists.

You never know what you will get with Saskatoon, are they the team that lost in 4 to Medicine Hat or the team that won 18 in a row in the regular season and is now more rested than the other clubs and will work out the rust. I thought Shawinigan would get beaten up last year and they won the whole thing. You just never know in this tourney, especially with a team like Saskatoon who have been wildly inconsistent all season.

Horvat is big, handles the puck well but is a very slow skater.

Looking forward to today's game. The top 3 players in the draft should be fun to watch.

I want to see how Wotherspoon handles the high-powered Mooseheads.

Who are the key players they'll lose this year? Carruth, Rattie, Rutkowski, Jones, maybe Wotherspoon from my count.

They actually could still be safe for next year if they can rebuild their defence. Losing 2 or 3 defence will hurt the team, but Burke could be a decent enough replacement for Carruth. I think we're already seeing their offensive replacements for Rattie. And some players, like Iverson, will fill the support team slots.

Think he is referring to the fact that the winterhawks have forfeited 9 Bantam draft picks including 5 first rounders from 2013-2017 because of player benefit violations.

They may still be able to ice a competitive team but it seems unlikely they will ice a championship caliber team for the next few years.

Ah. That's fair. They're on a really short clock now.

I think they could still be a possible team to go to the Memorial Cup next year, so that was where I got lost (since that team would be before the 8-10 years mentioned).

Feel really sorry for her. She was clearly nervous as hell. Nice to see the crowd help her. Such a good Canadian moment.
