If this happens I suspect that it will be similar to when Feaster was hired. To me that was the writing on the wall that Darryl was on his way out if the team didn't succeed even though the organizational spin was much different

My vote is for the guy that runs Pocket Dawg - sorry, I don't know his name.
His name isnt important, its what he does that matters.

Landon...I know this only because I was part of a select few who were his first customers way back when he went school to school for lunch hours.

I think we have enough special assistants around. Instead of bloating management with another suit, another charity move for a former Flame at that, why not spend the money on another scout in Europe?

The only way I'd be onboard with a new executive role in the hockey department is if King and Edwards back away from that role entirely. Otherwise we'll look like the Leafs executive of a few years ago, where there were so many presidents, vice-presidents, special advisors, GMs, assistant GMs, that the whole executive became a dysfunctional mess.

I hope you saw her naked 20-30 years ago. Considering she's in her 60's now, I think that's one view best left to the imagination.

Exactly. No one is saying 'why' exactly we need a 'Special Advisor' or what they'd be doing or advising about. Who are they advising? Why? If that person needs so much special advice, wouldnt it be better to simply replace them with the special advisor?

Dont get me wrong, if the special advisor was Scotty Bowman or something, then great, the guy's got tons of good advice to give, but if its just some former player thats been out of the game for 20 years then whats the point?

As for " special advisor" what does Conroy actualy do? As far as i can tell he has been given a "special title" for part time scout. I could be wrong about Conroy's title.
Cliff Fletcher yes, but if there was a snowball in hell chance to hire Scotty Bowman, you'd be crazy not to do it IMO.
