Well at least they're going after a guy who's worth going after. Honestly watching Petriangelo live at the dome made it pretty clear this guy is elite.

Agreed. So I think the Blues either know internally that they're willing to spend the dough to keep the 4 big RFAs AND Bouwmeester or they feel that what they gave up - what they can recoup by trading Bouwmeester = playoffs (and whatever success they have in the playoffs).

I think the Blues go no further than the 2nd round which leaves management plenty of time to ink all of the RFAs.
