I added a bunch of friends on my FB account but I just adjusted my notifcation settings to off lol. Way too many invites and notifications from it. I'm just going to use that one app that picks up all the coins

Still confused about this whole friend thing. I've now friended 6 randoms from the facebook group. Now I add them in the game? Then once I've done that I can "gift them"?

it takes a little while to build up reward points, but they pay off, we were in vegas about a month ago and pretty much ate for free for four days, between the 4 of us we must of had at least $700+ in comps for food, and other activities. I do recommend however that if there is something you want to redeem for, dont wait til the last minute because certain prizes are only updated weekly and sell out almost immediately, all redeemed prizes must be used 90 days from day of redemption and only 3 can be purchased in any given 30 day period

No, if you have a friend in your friends list that's on myVegas the app automatically sees that. You can see them walking around on the strip when you're playing the game.

Adding friends that play the game primarily gives you a bonus % on your daily spins. I don't bother with the gifting as it's only 50 chips at a time.

Spent two hours last night playing and in the same position. Hoping the growth begins to pick up a bit here. Was hoping to switch the the "Lucky Birds" game at level 15 as per the Strategy Guide. However, it looks like they've changed that to 20, so I'm stuck grinding it out in excalibur for another 5 levels.

One more question about the "friends" thing. Do all the people walking around the strip already have the app installed?

In the same boat with you. Im at level 16 .... at least we can do 25 autospins at a time now. 103k chips tho

read through.. there are a lot of links on walls of that group and even on the app page that you can click. Took me 20 mins or so last night to go through and collect like 80k in free chips.

Also as for leveling... i know the guide says stay at 60 chips per spin but on the leveling dont you get 60 xp pts per spin? If I did 150 per spin wouldnt I get 150xp pts per spin?

for the record I just tested the leveling... Since I had 100k chips I bet the max on excalibur ( 600) . I went from lvl 16-18 since 12:25 ... and now im at 99k chips


Edit up to 19 at 12:44 with 98k chips. I was up to 113k at one point. lol

You level faster, but it's less efficient for getting the reward points, which is really what you're after....I might switch to your strategy though, as I've really had enough of this excalibur game.

Yeah its a bigger risk when you spend so many coins. I go on HOT streaks and then I COOL down a lot.

Yeah I collected all those chips. I'm a fool and always forget to change the bet and just play default without looking. I lost like 60k or whatever in a span on 30 seconds cuz it was betting at 2000 per spin

Well its 12:50 and I just got to level 20. So 4 levels in 20 minutes or so by betting 600. I am 94k so I lost around 10k which isnt so bad. I had the stack up to 113k twice and lost it down. I did pick up like 15 V tokens to build a hotel tho so that was good .

I must be doing something wrong...i have no chips because I go into a casino that I havent built and do max spins until I run out of money. While playing I slowly build that hotel. The hotel pays me when I click on it.
As for getting chips in the facebook group...I must be missing something because I cant find any links to free chips :S

anyone know why people say that angry birds is the best game, other then because the guide says so, anecdotally here it seems like with the sharing opportunities that Mirage is the best game to play and I'm pretty sure the guide was written before the Mirage was released so perhaps it's now out of date.

It depends on how you define "best".

The guide recommends Lucky Birds because it requires the least baby-sitting, so it maximizes LP gain with minimal user intervention. From that perspective, it's the "best" way to gain LP while letting it spin on auto in the background.

Other games may generate more share links, so if that's important to you, then something like Jewels Verne might be better - but, the more link shares they give, the lower the actual value of those shares (eg. Jewels Verne is 50 chips, Luxor is 10 chips, others are 101, IIRC). The problem with share links is that if you've got friends on your list who have been put in Facebook "jail", you're not going to get credit for those links being clicked, anyway. So, a lot of people put no stock in shares and don't count on getting much if anything from them.

Basically, though, all that matters is that you're betting in such a way as to make the most of filling up your LP meter. This post (should be public) goes through all of the thresholds for the LP meter. For example, betting 200 on Lucky Birds when below level 58 is better than betting 300, because either way it takes 11 spins to get 10 LP.
