For me, I will never get the benefit from watching 3D movies.
I have an eye issue similar to Dion's. I have next to nothing for peripheral vision on one side, vision on that side has become progressively worse (yet better on the other); to the point that my eye doctor refers to it as being "clinically blind" in that eye.
Anyhoo... it prevents me from being able to properly process (see) 3D images.

With the very few rare exceptions (Avatar, new JP...) you're not missing much. Most of the time when I walk out of a 3D movie afterwards, I feel like I got robbed.
As for me, I dunno if it bums me out, but after nerding out in the Science thread lately, knowing that I most likely won't be alive when we first make contact with intelligent life from another planet.
...unless they go all "Mars Attack" style on us, then its probably for the best.

An interesting thread topic . . . . .
I'd love to be able to draw, to be an artist of some type . . . . . unfortunately, even my stick men suck.
I can still paint an image with a camera better than a lot of people. I can also write descriptively fairly well. Neither is the same.
That's not a regret though. Just a limitation.

If there's no way you can do something, then there is really no point in being bummed out about it.

I wish I could spend time with animals without my allergies essentially cutting off my airways. Allergies + Asthma is a terrible combination.
Its hard to really describe the feeling. I absolutely love animals, but I always have this little voice telling me to stay away. I figured I would grow out of the desire to have a dog as I got older, but it has only grown.
Hoping to try allergy shots next year, but the doctor assured me that even after years of shots, there is no likelihood that I will be able to actually have a dog in my home.

See Stevie Ray Vaughan play live in small blues club where you can see every note, every cord, every lick. That's a cold shot...of reality.

See a Flames game in Calgary with Iginla and Kiprusoff in the lineup.
Living in Manitoba, I've been humming and hawing about making the trip for some time, but it burns me I didn't get a chance to do it.

Another one here limited by my eyesight.
I also could never be a pilot, police officer, etc.
I've never been able to see those 3d images in books (the ones you have to cross your eyes to see).
It bums me out that I'll never have enough money and time to see all the things in the world worth seeing.

Due to an oral allergy I cant eat most fresh fruits and veggies. Its a bummer because it is something that developed in my early 20s, so I know how good fresh berries, apples, peas, etc are but I cant eat them any more.

My wrists hardly move when playing the piano, and they mostly stay parallel to the piano. I don't know why you would need more than 45° as a casual player. Have you ever tried?

I really enjoy listening to music of all kinds, and go to performances all the time.
I would love to be able to play, and have tried intently to learn a variety of instruments (piano, guitar) but have never been able to. The part of my brain that enjoys music and can follow the tune doesn't connect to my fingers, apparently.

I was thinking the same thing. Wrists should barely move while playing the piano.
