I can't believe that Izturis threw that to first. We need a second base man badly!

Buehrle really bails out Izturis. Still 1-0.

This is painful to watch. We desperately need some excitement on offense.

Huge Double-Play but the Jays need to be better at every aspect. They are currently below average at Pitching, Batting and Fielding.

can't believe that i'm saying this, but I miss John Farell's/Brian Butterfield's "small-ball" approach to the game...this year, the guys are going for a power/hr swings every damn time and that's why we are bottom of the league in run differentials and way up there in team strikeouts. Something has to change soon or else, with the brutal schedule ahead, we can be looking at another 4th place finish at best.

Statrting pitching (even Morrow's subpar start yesterday) have finally turned it around, it's the offence that is killing us right now. We just wasted another quality start from Buehrle today.

Double checked the time stamp to make sure it wasn't the 2012 Jays thread.

White Sox and Yankees seem to be able to hit doubles at will while the Jays are making ever single pitcher they face lately, Pettite, Kuroda, Sale, Quintana, Axelrod look like All Stars.

It's been a combination of terrible plate discipline and also just a sprinkling of bad luck as well.

I have to remain faithful these Jays will turn it around.

Same old story with JP. He epitomizes what the Jays are all about this year so far.

Yet he's perennially a fan favorite. Guy is consistently a sub .250 hitter and sub .300 OBP. I'd trade those home runs for a better approach anyday.

There might be some hope for the Jays if they make use of some of their Triple-A farm players who won 27-9 last night.

Why would we pinch hit for Kawasaki instead of Izturis? Kawasaki is one of the only Jays taking consistently good at bats.
