Cause he's been terrible whereas MacDonald played good enough for wins in his last 3 games? If you want to win, I think it was an easy decision by Hartley. Now he has a decision to make after that performance.

A little weird, but happy with the result. Congrats to man with the (not so) golden locks.

OIlers might want to take a page out of our book it seems. I am genuinely excited for the future, both near and distant.

The Avs kind of got screwed. Parenteau got tackled at the blueline and gave the Bluejackets a 2-on-1 from their own blueline. Should have been a penalty and likely gone to a shootout.

Good effort... and honest a result for the best.

And why has Sportnet decided they are now CNN with their coverage of this bombing.

Like someone posted in the game thread. I also like how both hanowski and reinhart didn't over celebrate compare to that smug nail yapupov!

Hanowski is one smart cookie, listening to him speak has me believing he very well could be our captain one day. He's honest, hard-working, takes responsibility and wants to get better.

Finally..some real optimism! Feels good.

Really good to see the youth delivering here. Games don't matter much and opponents likely not taking them seriously, but still good to see.

Also, it's nice to have these first game milestones going in our favour for once.

Don't know if it's been mentioned, but how did Hanowski get that dent in his forehead?
