With Lundqvist and a proven sim scoring machine and reigning playoff scoring champ Rick Nash, it might be very dificult to beat the Islanders.

I have a feeling this could be a long series.

Winnipeg Jets (3) vs Montreal Canadiens (6) - Habs in 6
How can you bet against a 3-time Stanley Cup Champ?

Pittsburgh Penguins (4) vs Philadelphia Flyers (5) - Flyers in 6
I will be cheering for the Penguins but as history has shown us, the Penguins have a tendency to choke in the playoffs and I think it is going to happen again this year driving Goffie bananas while his chest is sizzling in the sunny south.

WEST:
Anaheim Ducks (1) vs Minnesota Wild (8) - Ducks in 5
Too strong and have been solid all year while the Wild have really been struggling and are battling injuries.

Calgary Flames (2) vs Chicago Blackhawks (7) - Flames in 7
Cheese is old.

Detroit Red Wings (3) vs Colorado Avalanche (6) - Wings in 4
SWEEP...The Avalanche will miss James Reimer and the day Pat traded him the Jackets will bother him well into next season. You don't trade the only goalie who was winning consistantly for you a month out from the playoffs!

Phoenix Coyotes (4) vs L.A Kings (5) - Coyotes in 6
I think the Coyotes could duplicate what the Columbus Blue Jackets accomplished last year...a solid team but still not as elite as some, but stong enough and consistant enough to string togeher a bunch of wins and do some real damage en route to Aasim winning GM of the year honors...

The schedule link on the site has been updated - I'll have to update the stats links after the first games are simmed. I'm traveling tomorrow so I might not be able to do that until I'm back Thursday - but it shouldn't get in the way of games being simmed as you'll all be able to see the results of Day 1 on the schedule link.
